Aqua Blue Designs triumphed for the 2nd year in succession in the UK Pool & Spa Awards.
The company was commissioned to design the new 13.5 x 6m indoor pool facilities for St David’s Holiday Park in Anglesey – an established holiday venue right on the beach at Red Wharf Bay.
The deck level pool included a jetted spa area opening from the pool at one end with water canon etc and a children’s pool at the opposite end.
Aqua Blue’s design included the heating and ventilation system for both pool hall and changing areas. We also acted as consultants to architects Arwel Davies Ltd on aspects of the building design relevant to this wet leisure environment.
Aqua Blue assisted with the tendering process and gave support through to completion and hand over last year.
This attractive addition allows bathers to swim close to and with fine views of the Irish Sea and to benefit from all the other on-site leisure and holiday facilities at St David’s.
